Hello fellow Mermaids!

If you've been following me on Twitter for a while, you'll most likely know that I've been to Italy for two weeks with my boyfriend and our 2 best friends. (Travel Diary soon to follow, stay tuned!! :) ) Of course me and my friend Lani did a lot of shopping, since almost all stores in Italy had their products on sale for at least -30% going down to UNBELIEVABLE -90% (!!!) I have never in my life seen a store in London or in Austria give away their products (That were all in good condition and styles from Spring/Summer 2016) for so little money, so obviously we shamelessly indulged in the Motto of "Shop until you Drop!" I thought about doing a Clothing Haul on here as well but to be honest it would probably take ages just to take decent photos, let alone caption and link them all. So I decided to settle for a good old Make Up Haul with manageable 6 items.

The first I picked out is an eyeshadow from a store called PUPA Milano, a brand I have heard of before but never been to. I do have to admit that they have a very nice range of products ,decently priced as well.
I picked out this specific product because it's one of those colours that just go with literally everything, you can use them for party make up as well as a simple one for Job/School or University in my case. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, since me and my boyfriend were invited to a garden party/family reunion because one of his uncles celebrated his 50th Birthday. This was probably the best stress test any eyeshadow could undergo- it was Hot, sweaty and there was a lot of Alcohol. (Just for the record, I settled for Raspberry juice, which resulted in everyone thinking Louis got me pregnant- I was just the driver.) When putting it on I noticed it is very pigmented and really sticks to your lid (Hence why it was really long-lasting and didn't crease) that's why I had a pretty hard time blending it with a dark brown eyeshadow in my crease, But once you get it done it looks absolutely amazing!!! It's also a great base- usually the white eyeshadow I place in the corner of my eyes starts to fade during the day- not yesterday!
All in All: I think it's an amazing product that I will use many many times in the future!

Next up is a foundation by KIKO, a brand I fell in love with last year. I am a firm believer that it's the best High Street brand out there with amazing quality that doesn't eradicate your bank account. I got this specific product on sale for € 6,40 and now I'm absolutely obsessed with it. It has everything you'd wish for in a foundation: High Coverage, it is super light but buildable and is it weird to say it smells amazing?? Idk. I also felt like it moisturised my skin very well. Having SPF 20 makes it perfect for summer as well, since using foundation and sunscreen separately sometimes makes me feel like I've got tons of make-up on my face and I don't like that at all.

There isn't really much to say about the nail polishes. I've been reaching for the KIKO ones ever since I discovered them and they are pretty splendid. Long lasting, easy to apply and lovely colours. What else to wish for?

    Sounds like an amazing time. Eyeshadow stress test lol - ALCOHOL :-D everytime I go out partying come back my make up is everywhere. Amazing products love the nail polish! Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely day!

Hello Mermaids!🐟 Since it's getting warmer, my skin is recovering from the tolls winter ❄ has taken and it's breaking out less recently. Nail Polish Favourites - Spring Edition!

Today I thought I'd share some of my favourite Nail polishes with you since  they can really add that little bit of extra to any of your outfits! In spring I find myself reaching mostly for pastels but also for vibrant and bright colours that really pop out!  1) essence nude glam: 05 cafe ole I absolutely love this colour for almost all occasions therefore I've already used up a lot of bottles! One thing I really love about essence nail polishes is that even though this specific one is not quick dry, they do dry super quickly and also start to chip quite late for such a bargain!  2) essence the GEL NAIL polish: 37 serendipity This one is actually a gel nail polish, but if you don't own their gel nail kit like me, this nail polish applies just like a normal one would and dries just as quickly as well! Plus, I absolutely love the name!  3) essence Brit - Tea nail polish: Have a beau - tea - full day  Not gonna lie, I only bought this

Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey! My Morning Routine.

In my opinion, how you spend your morning can have a huge impact on how the rest of your day is going. So I decided to transform a super popular video on youtube in a blog post! I'm not exactly a morning person and on weekends I love to stay in bed until midday, therefore I force myself to get up super early on week days, otherwise I feel like I'm unproductive and lazy. My alarm usually goes off at 5:45 am but I only ever manage to get out of bed at 6. Those extra 15 minutes in bed really help me to wake up though and are usually spent cuddling with my boyfriend or scrolling through social media if he hasn't woken up yet. Then I make my way downstairs to my kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I'm not very hungry that early in the morning, so most mornings I go for a casual cup of tea with some granola or a toast with some avocado mash- which I've especially been enjoying since it's getting warmer outside!
